You've taken the training and worked hard to provide a quality Scouting
experience for your unit. Why not be recognized for your efforts?
All registered leaders are encouraged to strive for the adult recognition award
appropriate for his/her registered position. To be sure you receive your award,
please follow these steps.
Make sure you are registered for the position that the award covers. Remember, you can only be registered for one position at a time. Also, be sure that you have served in the position for the required amount of time. FAILURE TO BE REGISTERED FOR THE POSITION IS THE NUMBER ONE REASON AWARDS ARE NOT APPROVED.
Down-load the appropriate award progress record. Some of the most common awards for Cub and Boy Scout leaders are included below.
Other awards progress records not included here may be found at the National site.
Carry out the requirements for the award. When you have finished, please have the appropriate person sign your completed progress record. It is a good idea to have any supporting documentation of your efforts to show the person signing the award progress record.
Give the signed progress record to Mike Fossler, Cecil Training Chair at Roundtable.
If approved, you will receive your award at Roundtable or at the Annual Recognition Dinner.
